Drawing clear boundaries should be very important as the manager should not try to be everyones friend in the organization. When the manager draws a boundary between his personal life and professional life, employees will appreciate the relationship that results. When employees see that the manager is humble to get their input in the organization, they will, in turn, be humble when the time comes. This is because the myth of genius is slowly dying as a manager doesnt have to be responsible for the whole organization.
